My weekend went a little like this:
-I sat at Dairy Queen with my dad, and over a Blizzard, we talked physics - Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, duality of light, the possibility of communicating faster than the speed of light. I think he's a genius alien.
- Saw American Dreamz. "Dreamz with a 'z.'" I recommend it.
Sunday night...
-We drove around the fancy part of Abilene and laughed at what a fool Jane Guitar is for building THE ugliest home in Abilene. It's as bold as the makeup on her face. It's so ugly that almost every house on the half-of-the-block-not-taken-up-by-her-palacial-eyesore is up for sale. Oh Jane!
-Lindsey pulled out her laser tag set and we sat in her living room shooting each other. We didn't even get off the couches.
-Lindsey and I wrapped ourselves in foil, turned on the disco ball, put on Styx Mr. Roboto, set up the video camera, waited for our friend Seth to get back, and danced a little robot dance for him.
-It's times like these that make me wonder if I will ever grow up. Probably not.
gosh you were so quick with that laser tag. I challenge you to a rematch. THIS time we should move the competition to the kitchen. I'll sit on the counter, you can sit at the kitchen table. IT'S ON!
