A few weekends ago we took the short trip to Hamilton Pool where I briefly made eye contact with a very large water snake.
Truly it was beautiful and unlike any place I've ever been. Just a short hike to get to a piece of God's handiwork tucked away in the middle of an awful drought.
It was lush and green and pristine. There were massive, mossy stalactites hanging all along the rim of the pool. It really felt like dinosaurs could emerge at anytime...
if you ignored the tiny beach and pool filled with swimmers equipped with beer coozies.
Here is one such dinosaur.
Unfortunately, my camera's autofocus isn't working well anymore, but we're going again this weekend, so I'll try again to capture it more accurately.
"Now, lemme tell ya about the snakes."
