Busy Bee

When my mom first found out I had a blog, she said, "Why would anyone want to read about your daily life?" Today is one of those days that I think she might have a good point.

Things I did today:
- Had an early breakfast with the family before Lonnie flew home
- Washed the car
- Waxed the car
- Picked my room up (this took a long time)
- Packed away my winter clothes
- Cleaned out my sewing trunk (I found $5!)
- Cleaned out my closet
- Took 4 bags of stuff to Goodwill
- Filled out and sent in my vehicle registration renewal
- Organized my drawers
- Found 1 pair and cleaned 2 pairs of shoes
- Cleaned the bathroom
- And last, but not least, cleaned out the inside of my car.
Now, for any of you who have ever ridden with me, or more likely been denied a ride because there was no room due to the garbage in my car, you will understand what an undertaking this was. It turned out to be interesting.

These are the things I found in my car:
- A large poster of spaghetti
- One of my favorite pairs of earrings
- A $9 check from Heather Freeman written in February
- A pair of cowboy boots
- Papers. Lots and lots of papers.
- A family portrait
- An empty silly string canister
- A brochure from my January ski trip
- A fondue set
- A ridiculous sequined cell phone holder that someone gave me, as well as an argyle photo album
- An elephant picture holder and accompanying pictures
- A pair of heels and a pair of sandals
- A big box of colored pencils
- 2 pairs of sunglasses
- An angel coin from my friend’s wedding over a year ago
- The Coolest CD Ever, made by Lindsey Holder, my coolest friend ever
- 2 shirts that I bought in March and left in my trunk
- 4 coat hangers
- A pair of jeans and a shirt
- An unopened pack of gum (Wrigley’s apple. mmm.)
- A book and my long lost Bible
- An under-bed storage container for my winter clothes
- Some craft paint
- An unopened bag of Dorritos and a bottle of water
- And a whole entire garbage bag of trash.

Tah dah!
I bet I’ll get better gas mileage now.
