Almost Halfway

I am approaching the end of 6 months here. Time seems to have come almost to a complete stop. In the past week or two, I've suddenly become very eager to finish it out and go home. I'm not homesick, but I feel like this year is just a holding place. It's like the biggest "time out" ever dealt to anyone. I'm ready to move on. As such, I have been thinking about the top 10 things I am excited to see again:

1. My family.

2. Clean air.

3. Potable tap water.

4. Non-fluorescent lights. Oh! How I miss the soft, hospitable glow of incandescent lighting. When I see it, I usually stop to look because it's rare and comforting.

5. A house with more than one room.

6. Grass. Nature. Space. Walking down a street without dodging people.

7. Couches.

8. Refried beans.

9. Feeling comfortable.

10. Fat people.

  1. I especially like number 10. I'll work on getting fat, so you'll want to hang out with me.

  3. No fat people and free hugs. Korea sounds a lot like Heaven!
