Right now, I'm volunteering with Habitat for Humanity through a program called AmeriCorps. In short, I thought it would be neat, but AmeriCorps is very poorly run and the office has overloaded me with their responsibilities, and quite frankly, I think it's stupid. That said, I am itching to do something else. Something not in an office. Something different.

I went to the rodeo with Heather and her family 2 weekends ago, and I could scarce contain my delight; horses, hats, dirt, and dung. Plus Whiplash, the cowboy monkey:

I'm sort of thinking about working on a ranch or a national park this summer. I'll trade in papers, printers, florescent lights, and living far below the poverty line for fresh air, hard work, and sunshine. It sounds so good.
