When I woke up at 8 am this morning, I was 3 hours late. I'd already missed an appointment to get my haircut and distantly missed the bus for school. The class I was missing happens to be the class in which I have absolutely no idea what is going on, and late last night as I was staring at my homework, struck stupid with frustration, I got an email from the TA saying everything I've turned in has been based on the wrong questions because I have a different edition of the textbook. And I have to redo everything. After buying another expensive book. By Wednesday.
So, after I stopped feeling horrible I decided to carpe this diem.
It's slightly chilly outside, so I took the dog for a long walk down Shoal Creek, my favorite street, and enjoyed not sweating for the first time in 4 months. I cut my own bangs without too much detriment, and now who knows? Maybe I'll cut my fingernails.
Oh man. How aggravating. But it is a lovely fall day. :) Carpe this diem is right!!
