A few weekends ago, dear Nathan McKenzie came for a visit.
We went to Mozart's on Lake Travis and listened to a great band playing surf music, and because our plans to go kyaking were ruined by weather, we put a considerable amount of time into stalking Kyle Chandler (from Friday Night Lights), including driving by both of his listed residences outside of town. We also sat quietly and read for a few hours, we ate delicious Indian food outside at G'Raj Majal, and we went to an improv show. In between, we laughed so hard that:
1) we didn't remember what we were laughing about
2) it became weird for the people who were with us
3) it kind of hurt.
Nathan has the most insane laugh I've ever heard. It's called Mach 5, and once it starts, it cannot be stopped.
Someday, I'm going to capture Nathan's laughter and sell it. I'll be rich and the world will be happier.
Note: If you ever want to hear an impression, I can do a fairly decent one, although it has to be performed outdoors.
