Bonding Time

I would like to announce that I am a mere 2 movies away from having seen every single James Bond movie ever made, in chronological order, of course. Soon all 20 Bond movies will be under my belt. And clearly, I am a better person for it. There were times when I thought it would never happen. There were movies that I thought would never end. There were plenty of bad puns and ugly girls that James did. But I perservered.

My friend Jonathan and I took on this project about a year ago. Sometimes we play James Bond Scene It, and though I was much less experienced initially, I have come a long way and now rival his knowledge. My particular skill is naming the singers who sing the theme song to each movie. It's probably the most impressive thing that I've done in my life, to date.



Right now, I am watching The Man With the Golden Gun with my dad. It's awful. Even more awful than I remember, but for some strange reason, I like it. For the rest of my life, anytime I see a Bond movie, I will fondly remember those lazy Sunday afternoons and Saturday nights wasted at Jonathan's house, keeping tabs on how many women James knocked up and how many men he killed.
